Vintage McCoy pottery planter with rich green glaze, deeply ribbed sides, and an attached saucer.
An architectural flowerpot with a graceful swag border and beautifully shaded molded details.

Olive green highlights give way to deeper forest tones within the vertical ribs, emphasizing the planter’s tapered silhouette. The raised border around the opening adds a refined decorative finish, balanced by the textured attached saucer.

Marked MCP and USA underneath, this piece represents McCoy’s Mount Clemens ownership era. Its compact proportions make it a handsome accent for a kitchen windowsill, plant stand, or collection of American pottery.

Approximate Age:
Late 1960s–early 1970s, circa 1967–1974, attributed from the MCP mark associated with McCoy’s Mount Clemens ownership period. McCoy Pottery Collectors Society

Measurements:
Approximately 4½ inches tall and 4¼ inches across the top opening.

Condition:
Good vintage condition with no chips or cracks reported. A small manufacturing ding at the upper left rim, shown in the close-up photograph, occurred during production. Fine glaze crazing is visible, along with minor surface wear and residue around the attached saucer. Small glaze irregularities are also visible inside and underneath. The green glaze retains an attractive glossy finish with darker pooling that defines the molded design. Please review all photos carefully as they are considered part of the description.
